On Monday the 23rd of January the AD Europe Kick-Off Meeting 2012 took place in Munich. It was a day filled with networking, great presentations and new insights followed by a typical Bavarian evening in downtown Munich.

Participants & Speeches
In total we were a group of 23 people and we had participants attend the meeting from Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Slovakia, Turkey and the UK. The highlight of the event was a keynote speech by Alain Heureux (President of the IAB Europe) who shared his insights about the internet in Europe with us.   Other speakers were Yasmine el Hani and Geraldine Gerin from Orange Advertising Network in UK & France, Giovanni Scarduelli from Libero Advertising in Italy and Eric Hall from United Internet Media in Germany.

New Developments
We introduced several new developments & initiatives at the meeting – amongst others:
1)    OASIS Database – In October & November of last year we every partner to fill out excel sheets with information about the sites. This has now been compiled to one big database and is available on the internal login area of the AD Europe website. OASIS database will help you to get information in a fast & easy way and increase sales.
2)    AD Europe Newsletter – A monthly newsletter will be sent to all partners of AD Europe as well as advertising clients & agencies announcing promotions on the sites, new products etc. to increase awareness of the individual partners and AD Europe. Every partner can send articles.

We are looking forward to the next AD Europe Meeting on the 29th of May in Barcelona!
