The freemail pioneer GMX, currently the number 4 among the online offers with the highest reach on the German Internet, has launched its new Switzerland portal in January 2009. In addition to the popular GMX e-mail service, Germanspeaking Internet users in Switzerland now also have access to country-specific content at http://www.gmx.ch.
In cooperation with the Swiss Depeschenagentur (Swiss National News Agency, sda), GMX provides up-to-date news and articles on topics from politics, business, culture and lifestyle. The offer will be supplemented during its launch by services such as the weather service for Switzerland.

In addition to existing Internet services, future TV and voice services are planned to be launched and marketed under the Bluewin brand as well.
