 December 2003: 1 idea, 3 partners, 6 countries – AD Europe

  • Leading European online players and marketers – France Telecom Group Orange (formerly Wanadoo), United Internet Media (formerly WEB.DE) and Wind Libero Italy – join forces in a "star alliance", building the first international online media and advertising network alliance of leading local portals and online media marketers.
  • The association first focused on establishing an European network for the 6 largest European online economies Germany, France, United Kingdom, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands.
